Since August 2019, Galvin assumed assistant coach duties for both the men’s and women’s soccer programs at his alma mater of Luther College in Decorah, Iowa. During his three years on the sidelines, Galvin helped guide the Norse to 32 wins and a trip to the Division III quarterfinals back in 2019. Prior to re-joining the Norse, Galvin was an assistant coach at the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, where he broke into the coaching ranks back in 2018 and was part of a Pioneers team that advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

As a player, Galvin was a four-year letter winner for the Luther men’s soccer team, serving as team captain as a junior and senior. During his time as a student-athlete at Luther, the Norse claimed 52 wins, and Galvin was named the team’s Offensive MVP his senior season.

Galvin graduated from Luther in 2016 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management. In December 2021, he earned his Masters in Adult Education from UW-Platteville.
